Basic Editing — Includes assistance with grammar, punctuation, structure, flow, and other elements of good writing. Work is performed through Microsoft Word track changes. This feature will show "removed" material and "added" material in different colors, so you can readily see the editing.

Proofreading — Involves the correction of typographical errors, misspellings, general formatting errors. Sometimes, proofreading consists of comparing two documents for correctness.

Copyediting — Includes help with grammar, punctuation, structure, flow, and other elements of good writing. Work is performed through Microsoft Word,  and the editing is done with the track changes feature, which will show "removed" material and "added" material.


Stylebooks and Reference Books used: Current AP Stylebook; Chicago Manual of Style, 16th ed.; Current Christian Writer's Manual of Style; Current Webster's New World Dictionary; and Merriam-Webster's Collegiate, 11th Edition.

In addition, she has worked with self-published nonfiction book writers; children's book writers; with a current, monthly corporate client,  proofreading  twenty-plus monthly newsletters for an electric corporation; and proofreader for the Christian PEN, Cross & Quill (CWFI), and others.
